"Excellent. We really enjoyed our two-week stay at Maqueda 259 in Room 105 (the largest and best) with balcony overlooking the bustling Via Maqueda. There's a small refrigerator in the room and so we stocked up at a nearby supermarket to have breakfast on the balcony each morning. There is a common area shared by the 5 rooms with coffee, tea, croissants. Helpful and welcoming host, Domenico, and very nice lady serviced the room each day. Communication with host was great. It is the best room we had in our Sicilian roadtrip. You come out and you are right on Maqueda and you are basically close to everything. The only things that we had trouble with was noise during the night. Since the room has the windows towards the interior court, you could hear everything, from the elevator noise, doors slamming and voices, the echo amplifying the noise. I guess if you want precisely this location it is hard to check all boxes. "
