"If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. "Beautiful place with the lovely Maria and her son. We didn’t want to leave. And the breakfast and dinner the day before at her cousins place wow. There’s no meny you eat what they serve and what food wow. "

"A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

"Very secure, gated property with beach access. Very friendly and helpful staff (family) did everything they could to make our short stay perfect. The rooms are big, bright and well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Lovely continental buffet breakfast. We didn't use the Spa facilities. A short drive to Paestum archaeological site, and also local shops and restaurants. "
