We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. "Wir (4 köpfige Familie mit 2 Kindern 4 und 6 jahre) sind aus Deutschland angereist und wurden herzlich empfangen. Sie waren so Gastfreundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist hervorragend und köstlich. Die Unterkunft war in einem exzellenten Zustand. Es war sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das einzige was etwas schwierig war, war die Kommunikation. Wir können leider kein italienisch und sie kein Englisch. Aber heut zu Tage gibt's zum Glück Handys die übersetzen können und...

"Beautiful place with the lovely Maria and her son. We didn’t want to leave. And the breakfast and dinner the day before at her cousins place wow. There’s no meny you eat what they serve and what food wow. "

"A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

Very comfortable bed. Lovely continental buffet breakfast. We didn't use the Spa facilities. A short drive to Paestum archaeological site, and also local shops and restaurants. "
