"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice with a breakfast consisting of Sicilian baked goods, coffee and brought in from a local bakery. We also had a small private terrace. Parking was secure and easy. We participated in an ecotour to see Mt. Etna. The tour picked us up at the hotel, which was very convenient."

"My family and I loved strolling the property admiring all of the various trees and plants while enjoying the views of the sea and Mt Etna. The owner even makes his own marmalade with fruit grown on the property that was served to us for breakfast. Property is quiet and was the perfect distance for our meeting with our Mt Etna tour company. Also enjoyed going to nearby Riposte that was a short drive away. Only issue was not being able to connect to WiFi but hey, that's not why you visit Italy."

"The owner is giving a personnalized service, he is there for the customer, we feel it is natural and not forced or overacted. The hotel is really close from the volcano but unfortunately really far from the cities"

"We booked a last minute trip and were treated like royalty. They went out if there way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The food was magnificent. The beds are firm, and there is no ac during dinner, but otherwise i would highly recommend. Claudio is fantastic "
