Safari Tentalow in Castelo Branco District

"What a fantastic hotel! Central and easy to reach the castle and town. The receptionist, Fatima, was wonderful, and we had access to our room, two hours early. Fatima was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and bright, and immaculately clean. The bed was large and comfortable and the TV in a good position to watch from bed. The cupboard had tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a fridge and safe. The bathroom did not have a bath or bidet, but the shower was very powerful. The toiletries were top quality. The breakfast was excellent and the best on our two week trip around Portugal.. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"The staff were so friendly and kind to our dog as well. We normally stop in the area on the way down to Portugal which we visit frequently. We will definitely be staying again. Good walks from the hotel along the river and very central location so access to facilities, restaurants etc. Free parking too."

"we stayed in one of the sculptures. we liked having 100% privacy (no shared walls/floors/ceiling), the top open to the sky, the large shower, and the firm bed. The fridge was also handy for storing drinks we had bought at the grocery store. The pool was great for dangling feet and enjoying the amazing view. Highly recommend doing the "Ruta de pontes" hike for even better views. The breakfast is great, plenty of options. The dinner not so great, but the moscow mule was great."
