It's a modern hotel with modern rooms and a friendly front desk staff. The negatives are that there is no chair or table or luggage rack in the rooms, and the breakfast was a very small set meal, by far the smallest breakfast among eight hotels that we've stayed in while in Vietnam.

Room was clean, front desk was cheerful. She was able to help organizing a taxi, renting scooters. Location was superb, beautiful large windows that opened. Breakfast was average.

This was a great little place to stay on Cat Ba. When we went it was just the start of the tourism season, and there were a lot of building works next door.
