4/5 - Good
Catch the bus from Palermo in Piazza Independenza, but be sure to go to the stop where the bus starts, not the nearest one to the Porta Nuova, as it can be quite full when it gets there (which is the second stop).

Better than Palatine chapel for us.
Although the local bus goes there it is always full and you may have to stand both ways. Easier to pay extra when booking sightseeing bus. Cathedral costs 10 euro to enter - probably worth 5 …….
Easy to go by bus. Chapel closes at lunch time but cloisters open all day . So cloisters first then lunch and back to be amazed. Takes some ime to really take it all in.
Very decorative and peaceful and great views down
