"Gym equipment was clean and functional. Access to gym was working early a.m. Room was clean. Continental breakfast (waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, no eggs) was OK. I didn't use the pool or hot tub, but the looked to be clean and working. The hotel location was good for me."

"This is a beautiful hotel, nice central location and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Our room was large, bright and well appointed (room 204). I would say there are a few things that should be considered. 1. Although the coffee and tea service in the morning was a nice touch, I am surprised that there weren't any pastries from a local bakery, or fruit or something else to snack. Breakfast isn't immediately nearby so having something with coffee/tea would be lovely. 2. Because this is an old Elks lodge (which has been beautifully restored), there aren't closets per se', The provided clothes rack is quite small and it would be helpful to have something more substantial to hang your clothes (there is even a nice I would use to construct a larger clothes rack). We were in town for a wedding and wanted more to hang our clothes on. 3. The shower is glorious and the sink area is beautifully done - but isn't very practical. Very little counter space and we had to take turns getting ready. A small vanity/desk area (with a lit mirror) next to the console below the TV would have solved the issue. Oh, and the toilet paper should be of better quality. :) Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would absolutely stay here again. There are some quirks to consider that we will remember going forward. Definitely worth consideration for your next stay in the Ventura/Santa Barbara area!!"

"I want to give a huge shout-out to Michelle for always taking care of me when checking in and out of my room. Another big shout-out to Tyler as well, he was very helpful when checking in at the hotel. The front desk people who help you out are amazing. As for the hotel, it speaks for itself; it is simply amazing from top to bottom."
