"Love the location - near restaurants and not too far from Sequoia entrance. Hotel was a little dated. i had to fix the toilet seat a couple of times. Out of 3 nights we used housekeeping once - did not replenish our kleenex, toilet paper and not enough towels. Breakfast was good.
The best part is the location"
"This is in a very convenient location just 3 miles from SNP with nearby dining. The entire place is rather old and dated, water heat and pressure were poor, but since we were just sleeping there at night, it was perfect for our needs. The refrigerator in our room leaked on the floor during the night and wasn’t cooling very well. I loved the little table and chairs outside each room where I could sit and watch the traffic and hear the river."
"The lodge was overall had a look of worn out buildings without too much renovations However the free breakfast and the buffet dinner was excellent and the location was very serene and peaceful"
"Stayed in the Guest Suite for 4 days. The hosts were so friendly, the suite was exceptionally clean, and the area is beautiful. I would absolutely stay there again!"
"We loved our stay! The airstream was perfect for our party of 3, loved the firepit and the location was beautiful. Just beware you can’t park at your site, everything needs to be carried or they provide wagons. Also, the airstream had a small fridge which was nice and a microwave. Drive to General Sherman is about 1.5 hrs but sooo worth it!!"
"We arrived an hour early and were able to check in with adjoining rooms. Beautiful location on King River with lounge chairs to enjoy the views outside. Picnic area is where you can use a propane camp stove to cookout. (No charcoal) Snack bar serves starbucks coffee and there is a cute gift shop with lower prices than the park shops. We enjoyed our stay, 2 elders a young couple and you g adults.
I would be worried of the river if you had young children. And a note that the room doors lock from the inside- old fashioned push button on the handle."
"i did not like that when I would like to get a cup of coffee, there was never any clean coffee cups. Also, it was snowing while we were up there and nobody bothered to feed the fireplace in the lobby."
