"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose this property because it was the only traditional hotel within walking distance of an event we were attending (Franklin Blues and BBQ Festival) so the rates were probably higher than normal. Our biggest complaint was the free hot breakfast. All 3 mornings were the same. Tasteless sausage patties and scrambled eggs. A handful of high carb offerings. Weak coffee and rock hard butter. The problem with Franklin is there are no restaurants "downtown"...

"Our room was lovely and clean. The breakfast room was well stocked and we were invited to help ourselves to snacks anytime. The staff was helpful and personable. We only had occasion to stay one night, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we had reason to be in the area."

"The room was beautiful. The on site restaurant for our dinner, and the next morning’s breakfast buffet was amazing. Easy check in and out. The outdoor hot tub had teens with water guns, and they weren’t being monitored by staff, or their parents. We felt like we couldn’t utilize the hot tub because the teens were being careless in such a small space. Staff or cameras should be in that specific area."

"This is our 5th stay at this location. The room was clean at check in-great. On our last day the towels and trash were taken care of but the bed was not made. The set up of the room bed-tv-chairs and table was not user friendly. If you wanted to watch TV in bed you would have to turn the tv towards the bed to get the proper viewing angle. The table and chairs were too close to the bed! NO Hottub👎and the pool was freezing cold. The front desk person (a man-Saturday afternoon) said he had a...

"When I pulled up, the property looked deserted. Called to summon desk to check me in. He was very polite. The top safety latch was missing on my door, which being in the hotel all by myself was a little unnerving. Literally, I was alone with no hotel workers. There was no breakfast set up. I will say that everything looked very clean. Almost looked like they were working to fix up. Paid more then I would have expected for what I got. "
