"Amazing location right next to Sliema Ferry station with a breathtaking view of Valletta. The apartment was well-equipped, modern, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We got access to an outdoor pool at Manta Beach Club just across the street, which was also quite nice, even though we could not use it due to the weather. I would definitely recommend this place and would return any time."

"It's a tiny room on the 4th floor: 75 steps and no lift. About 90 square feet, plus a shower room and balcony. The list of amenities was wrong: no separate living room, no TV, no freezer, no toaster. Very low water pressure, shower took 5 minutes to warm up, then alternated between scalding and freezing, overhead shower won't turn off. No plug in either sink. Poor quality cooking and dining equipment. Kettle has EU plug not compatible with local power supply. No cleaning or rubbish...

The team that look after the apartment were incredibly responsive to any questions and even helped us out at the last minute with organising the airport taxi when our original taxi let us down. "Beautiful apartment. Great view. Everything was kept clean. Upon online check in I was charged an additional cleaning&linen fee which was not disclosed in the expedia listing when booking. Stayed for 5 nights and only 2 towels per person were provided for the whole stay (1beach/1bath) without replacements. No extra toilet paper was provided, had to purchase ourselves. If it were not for these few inconveniences this property would have been a 5 star review. "

"While in a very convenient location for the ferry, restaurants and places to park, the apartment is frankly ugly, poorly maintained and uncomfortable. The mattress is old, thin and just bare springs - unacceptable really. The bathroom was adequate but the basic shower curtain means it floods everytime you use it and it just didn’t feel clean. The apartment is bright with windows both sides, but the mesh curtains let in all the morning light so you can’t sleep when the sun comes up and at night...

"Our room was a deluxe room on the 3rd floor and very spacious. The hotel is in a great location - very quiet in a residential area. There is some building work going on next door but as we were out all day it didn’t really bother us. Breakfast was very good - not huge selection but more than enough for what we needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a bit of a walk back and it is uphill so in the heat it can feel like a tough climb but it’s very doable and walks your dinner off! Overall a great little boutique hotel."

"Staying at the Corinthia Palace was such a treat. From the fantastic service to the amazing food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & did not want to come home. The room was so spacious & comfortable, with a lovely sized balcony. Big, comfortable beds & a choice of pillows if needed. Even the slippers were comfortable. The pool was wonderful! The sun loungers were easily available… no sun-bed hogging is allowed. Large towels are supplied & cleared away afterwards. Staff are on hand offering amazing poolside service (there’s even a buzzer if you want to order anything). There’s a nice choice of restaurants with something on the menu for everybody, and we enjoyed live music in the evenings in the Caprice Lounge. Breakfast was fantastic! £25 each with a huge choice of buffet & made to order menu options. Lots of choices for drinks from tea/coffee to juices & even iced lattes. We were stuffed! There are only a couple of small things to note. Getting in/out of the main doors with luggage was a bit of a faff as the doors were closed/heavy & nobody to help (wouldn’t have been an issue if my husband was with us). Also, the room was a bit tired around the edges and could do with a freshen up. Lastly, there’s not much around the hotel (which for us was great!). There is a free hotel shuttle service though. We didn’t use it as we’d stayed elsewhere to explore, then spent our last few days exclusively at the Corinthia Palace to rest. Overall incredible, thank you, we will 100% be back!"

"We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for seven nights and had an excellent experience. The room was cleaned to a very high standard every day without us ever needing to ask. Even on days when we stayed in the room later than usual, housekeeping made sure everything was spotless by the time we returned in the evening. The food was good. Although there were no halal meat options, we were still able to enjoy a variety of egg and vegetarian dishes. The amenities were also very good. The rooftop pool could become busy during the day, but it was much more relaxing in the evening. We particularly enjoyed the quieter indoor pool and sauna. The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. Combined with its excellent location, this made for a truly enjoyable and memorable visit. We would happily stay here again."

"The hotel was in the perfect location for us. Easy access to the ferries and bus. The room was clean and stocked with water and instant coffee. Loved the free day passes to the aqua luna pool across the street as well as the small rooftop pool located on site. The only downside is the construction going on outside of the hotel but that does not affect sleeping hours."

"The Waterfront is a no-frills mid-range hotel located on the Sliema waterfront, a short walk to the ferries and in the heart of the restaurant and bar district. The hotel is very well-maintained with gracious and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast in the Regatta Room is highly recommended with its lavish array of hot and cold selections. The 1Olive rooftop restaurant is a fun open-air setting but its themed buffet offerings are a big disappointment - I can't recommend dinner there.. By contrast the Cielo rooftop bar on the other tower is highly recommended for drinks and snacks, and sports a beautiful view of the cityscape. The guest rooms are clean and well-maintained but don't expect luxury accommodations as they are geared toward value-conscious travelers who value function and basic comfort versus frippery. There is a small, rather disappointing indoor private pool onsite but guests are also given free access to the Aqualuna outdoor pool resort across the street, which is a bit of a mob-scene and a tad down-market. When we stayed in early July 2026 most of the clientele were middle-class UK couples and groups in their 50s or 60s, so adjust accordingly to your own demographics. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend this hotel."
