"Complimentary drink on arrival, room was ready ahead of offical check in time. Lovely large family room which suited us perfectly (2 adults, 18 & 15 year old kids), beautiful view from balcony. Aqualuna lido across the road is free for hotel guests. Perfect location with plenty around the hotel and short walk to ferry to Valletta and Gozo. Great buffet style breakfast."

"Nice hotel, friendly staff, good facilities and wide choice of breakfast items. Central location in Gzira and near the waterfront for boat trips and ferries as well as bus services. Room was a little warm due to hotel centralised air conditioning system though a fan was provided which was useful."

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel the location was great and had a lovely view of Valletta. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were so spacious and clean I appreciate the storage there was two separate areas for me and my partner. The cool was great as it was so hot when we stayed although there were only 8 or so loungers and pool wasn’t not very big and only 1.2m deep. The breakfast was nice but was the same everyday so once you find what you like you are kind of stuck with eating same thing. I didn’t love the shadowed glass from toilet to bedroom as if you are to get up in the night the light shines through as there was only one big light to turn on. AC was amazing and overall fantastic hotel really peaceful, amazing staff and good location."

"Great location and comfortable stay The location of 115 The Strand Hotel is fantastic, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were kept clean, which was a positive. However, we did have some issues with the air conditioning, including a leak, and there were signs of damp and mould, which was disappointing. If natural daylight is important to you, I’d recommend booking a balcony room which is lovely but we also had one of the standard rooms it had no natural light at all, just a concrete wall outside the window. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of options. The front-of-house team were lovely and welcoming, although the restaurant staff weren’t particularly pleasant overall. Only two members of the restaurant team were genuinely engaging and friendly. Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location, comfortable beds and clean rooms, but the air-conditioning, damp/mould issues and lack of natural light in some standard rooms are worth considering when booking."

"We’ve just returned from a six-night stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Sliema and had an excellent experience. The staff were fantastic — friendly, pleasant and extremely helpful. They were always happy to recommend places to visit and restaurants to try, which really helped us make the most of Malta. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and all the amenities were excellent. Our room was cleaned every day and, although we booked a basic room, it still felt luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable, the blackout curtains were excellent and the room was surprisingly quiet despite the traffic outside. We also had a balcony. A sea view would have been lovely, but we were very happy with the room we booked. The bathroom was impressive, particularly the shower with its two different modes. The room also had an iron and hairdryer. Breakfast was brilliant, with a fantastic choice of sweet and savoury options — basically everything you could want. What really impressed us was how quickly items were replenished when they started to run low, so there was always plenty available. The spa and relaxation areas had a lovely, chilled atmosphere. The only slight negative was that a few other guests didn't always respect the quiet environment, but that's certainly not the hotel's fault. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Excellent staff, cleanliness, facilities, breakfast and comfort. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Sliema."

"A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt."
