"Last day of stay. Elevator stopped working. We were on the 3rd floor and being seniors, We had to carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. They did not offer to help us. What if we had fallen. All they said, we're sorry they had called maintenance. Didn't ask if we needed help."

"The room was recently updated, but there were smears of something brown on the bathroom walls. The breakfast was ok. The pool area was horrible. There was garbage all over, a pile of fingernail clippings by the hot tub, and the jets were broken, and all the windows and walls were covered in mold and algae. Severe need of a reno! In the game room, the change machine was broken, so unless you carried quarters, you could not play."

"The room was decent, but many of the outlets and charging areas in our room weren’t functioning. The location was great, with plenty of things to do nearby. The price was fair, but having to get creative to charge our phones was a bit frustrating. Maybe we just ended up with a bad room. The staff was occasionally absent, though it seemed they were dealing with some call-ins."

"We needed lodging that was Pet friendly and preferred a place with a kitchen. This Extended Stay worked perfectly- allowing us to bring our Pet and be able to have breakfast and other meals in our room. Place was clean and had basic kitchen supplies for the two of us for our short stay. Always feel better when rooms do not have carpeting. "Loved the location and the "home feel" of the GrandStay Hotel. We were just steps to the Riverside Park which was beautiful and walking distance to the historic downtown La Crosse. Our only suggestions to make the experience even better would be to upgrade the beds and have ice/drink vending easily accessible. Anita"

"It was a good stay. If you need a place to sleep and not spend your whole time inside it’s a good stay. Food is only ok and limited option. I would say go early for breakfast if you need a table to sit. Staff very little interaction as you don’t see them much ao it’s hard to rate them. Cleaners are so welcoming and nice.
