"Room was spacious and well appointed. Loved the common sitting areas on the 1st floor. Breakfast and dinners at the restaurant were very good with plenty of options including locally sourced products."

"This boutique hotel is a gem! Very cute. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We liked having dining option right there - we had lunch on the lovely patio outside. The hotel was quiet, tucked in on a side road. Very convenient location to everything, including walking to University of Coimbra. Rooms were clean and modern, kind of bare bones, minimalism, but fine."

"Staff was very nice. This is not the easiest place to get to. Located on a narrow alley and parking is very challenging. It is also multi level with stairs. So if stairs are an issue, keep this in mind. Haven’t stayed at a split foyer hotel room before. But the foyer did come complete with a swooning sofa, TV and padded/quilted wall. "This is a very special property. Upon check in, we were told the legend of Pedro and Innes, a tragic and romantic story that allegedly took place here. This set the tone for our exploration of this grand and historic accommodation. The public lounges are exquisite, and the library is full of old-world charm. The gardens are moody and extensive, well worth a stroll. We dined in both their restaurants, and the service and food were flawless. Our reason for visiting Coimbra was to see the historic...
