"Parking was close by, such a wonderful old property with history, lovely areas like library or courtyard to sit. Pool was lovely also met a lot of local members and enjoyed talking with them. Breakfast excellent great start to the day highly recommend "

It’s a very old hotel and they have leaned into that, so if you want somewhere modern this isn’t for you, but if you want a piece of Berkeley history I highly recommend. "

Had to seek out the manager to get a fork.....the garbage man finally got one for me while covering the forked portion with his dirty gloves. Staff at the front desk did not mention how much the parking was until after the deposit was paid, as a result they will lock you into it before disclosing what is collected within the deposit. Overall not straightforward at all and just shady business tactics. Property is old and not up to current day standards. The bathroom tub in our room had cracks snd shower curtains were messy. "
