Amazing stay, hotel has great facilities and staff were very friendly and helpful too. Upgraded to a room with a mountain view and balcony and it was well worth it. Also got an hour in the spa included which was a super nice touch and is worth a visit itself. Rooms were lovely big and clean, would definitely stay again.

The hotel room was very couzy with a comfortable bed and nice balcony with an EXCELLENT VIEW of MONT BLANC. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and the view of the mountain from the dinning room was just breathtaking. Really liked the place. I did not make reservation for parking as I was not aware of this, but there was public parking less than 1 block away. It also had many restaurants walking distance. I would recommend it.

Disappointing Stay

Location picturesque and ideal to everything. However the rooms are boiling hot in the summer. The two Dyson fans did absolutely nothing to help in our two bedroom suite. No one ever brought the extra pillows or towels we requested directly at the front desk because our phone didn’t work. Spa on site had strong foot odor

Great hotel and location

Hotel and staff are amazing. Location is perfect few steps from city center. Breakfast is delicious. The only downsize is related to room temperature as there is no AC and the room os really hot and you have to open the balcony to get some cooling inside.

The room didn’t have the view we book. The staff were very rude. We requested bottled water and the boy on reception told us to drink from the faucet. I am 76 years old and they didn’t help us with the luggage, so we had to drag it through a carpeted hallway with the wheels not sliding.

Nice hotel , small room but clean and welcoming, very convenient in town, a supermarket next door, many restaurants and shops across the street, ski bus stop just outside the front door, walkable to the train for ice cave. Jacuzzi in spa is luke warm so we didn’t really stay long but other than that a lovely stay

Great hotel right in the heart of beautiful town of Chamonix. The view from our room and the breakfast restaurant are picture postcard. The staff are really efficient and friendly, nothing was too much to ask. The room and the corridors were a little bit too warm but we had the balcony door opened and had a large Dyson fan. Would love to go back and would stay at the same place without any hesitation.

This is an okay property dressing it’s self up as a hip hotel. They couldn’t check us in on time, told us breakfast was included then later charged us around $80 for what was three mediocre breakfasts that we would have eaten somewhere else, the rooms are tiny, and you’ll hear people walking around above you. It’s centrally located and has decent views but that’s about it.

7-night Stay in February

Just had 7 nights at the wonderful AlpinaEclectic hotel. 5 minute walk from the Savoy beginner area. 2 minute walk to the start of the pedestrianised high street, with lots of shopping and dining options. Ski bus stops right outside the hotel as well, if want to explore further afield. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the hotel is very clean and warm, including heated ski lockers in the basement ski room. Fantastic breakfast selection, including cooked to order eggs and omelettes, and lovely mountain views from the restaurant to get you excited for the day ahead. Thoroughly recommended.

This hotel was very nice and recently renovated. Chamonix-Sud is small enough that you can walk everywhere from this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My one complaint would be that the hotel does not have air conditioning. Evenings are very cool (we visited in July), but you have to leave the windows open to enjoy that. The days can get hot, and the sun can be intense, and air conditioning would've been welcome at times.
