"Quite a quirky little hotel with lots of charm in a stunning location. Off the beaten track, without Sat Nav it would be a challenge to find it. When you do it’s worth it. Second time we have been there, and will go again some time."

We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. "Beautiful place with fabulous styling and great facilities. Lovely peaceful and quiet. The pool was extra special. The bed was really comfortable with lovely bed linen, but lots of the surfaces in the bedroom were very dusty, and although I brought it to the attention of housekeeping it wasn’t really resolved."

"We loved meeting Roc and staying here! This is a French country house and got us out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Roc was welcoming, gave us access to his family home and gardens, and an excellent restaurant recommendation in a nearby town. He even called to make a reservation for us. "
