We had an amazing stay at Edgewater. The staff was great and friendly, and the property itself was very clean and most of all the views were beautiful.

Staff were excellent, super friendly and accommodating. Hotel is brand new so everything is spotless. Location is right by the beach with private sun loungers and close to the Venetian port.

It’s really hard to write this review. The hotel itself is great - it’s relatively new, across the road from the beach, free sunbeds and our waterfront room and balcony was amazing! Location and facilities wise it’s a 10/10. But sadly the housekeeping was less than satisfactory. After our first night we returned to find our room made up but the waste bin in the bathroom had not been emptied - in a country where you place your toilet paper in the waste bin I would think this is a priority. Unfortunately when I spoke to the gentleman at reception it he seemed surprised I requested it to be emptied?? Our toiletry items had also not been restocked and I had to request this. After our second night we returned very late and again no toiletries were restocked. We literally had no shower gel and no shampoo and in need of a shower after a full day at a beach. I had to ask again (the same gentleman) and was told “I’m not sure we have any” - seriously!! I was also told “we were really busy today so just cleaned the rooms quickly” - worrying!! After our third day we were left with no toilet paper - again a basic. The hotel also offers free beach towels but on two occasions when requesting them we were told “it’s finished” - no one told us you had to get them by a certain time before the clean towels run out! It’s really a shame as the hotel has so much promise but our whole experience was marred by what should be basic expectations.

We felt like we did the best choice for this hotel , we spent 6 days in Chania and our location was just perfect , walking distance from everything you need , right in front of the beach is a game changer , i still miss this morning view and the sunset , if i ever go back to Chania , im 100% going back to this hotel , 10 out of 10 .

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless – everything felt perfectly clean and well maintained. Our room had an incredible view, and the private beach was such a highlight – peaceful, beautiful, and never too crowded. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were always helpful, friendly, and especially accommodating with our baby, which made the trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. The location is also fantastic – just a quick 10-minute walk to the Old City, so it was easy to explore while still enjoying the relaxing atmosphere by the sea. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, convenience, and charm.
