However, it is very rundown - I'm not talking about faded elegance - I'm talking about neglect and poor management. "The room was clean and the location was great particularly for food and getting to the east gate. Hotel seems dated and is loaded with tour busses. So much so, it was difficult to get from one building to another. Go early for breakfast because it seemed picked over the morning we went a little later. Was a little loud earlier in the evening but it did quiet down and we had a good sleep. "

"Room was adequate and clean. I liked the location 10 minutes walk to South Gate or SW gate can’t remember but a main entrance to two parks I visited in the Wullingyang area. Close to the town area with lots of local restaurants around. They also offered to pick me up from Zhangjiajie train station complimentary. I enjoyed coffee and early sun on the roof deck with the resident cat. "
