"The Pinckney is a small hotel but it is conveniently located near plenty of shops and restaurants also in walking distance to plenty of landmarks. The staff is willing to help in any way possible the complimentary breakfast is good. Our room was clean and cool and looked to be new renovated. "

"We liked the room once a couple repairs were made. Liked the staff, Mariah & Carrie & and young guy on evening shift. Lady in Dining area during free breakfast was not too friendly and looked very gestapo like as she watched over all guests which was a bit creepy. Location was good, close to all major areas of interest. No pool is a downer. "

"#1 the price, loved they have usable balconies. Nice pool and pool area, location on waterfront, walking distance to 8 or more resturants, lots of boardwalk to stroll on. Seeing the wildlfe (dolphins!) Professional and courteous staff. We were so impressed! We will be staying at Shem Creek Inn foe our future trips! Wonderful! "
