Upon calling while I was on the way, the reception desk accommodated with the same price without question, so nice and accommodating. Once we reached the pool was about to close shortly after we made our way to the rooftop (which has nice crowd at night and nice nightlife) The staff then accommodated to allow my son to swim a few...

"The property is attractive and well maintained. If room is on the harbor side the view is excellent. Restaurants on premises are poor with the exception of the Reel Restaurant, but that has only sandwiches and "bar" food. Many of the employees working at the front desk have a serious deficit understanding and clearly speaking English.Do not expect concierge or any luggage assistance. The setting is very nice and there is an hourly shuttle to Charleston, BUT customer service is seriously lacking."

"The property was nice. Transportation into town was difficult due to the distance. It took over 30 minutes to get an uber or cab. The price was high for the nightly rate and the rooms at the Boardwalk could use a little refreshing. The staff was nice, however I have had better service at resorts that cost the same price. Lastly, the resort does not offer a shuttle service around the property. I found this odd… I had to walk from the main check in area (different building) with my luggage...

"#1 the price, loved they have usable balconies. Nice pool and pool area, location on waterfront, walking distance to 8 or more resturants, lots of boardwalk to stroll on. Seeing the wildlfe (dolphins!) Professional and courteous staff. We were so impressed! We will be staying at Shem Creek Inn foe our future trips! Wonderful! "
