The property was in a good location near eating places. The room was clean and very comfortable. The front-desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel offered free shuttle service to the airport which I took advantage of. The driver was very friendly.

Airport shuttle very helpful

Needed a hotel with an airport shuttle. Easy to get to/from CLT. Breakfast has eggs, sausage, oatmeal and fruit. Room wifi allowed me to keep up with work. Restaurants within walking distance.

The ceiling had been patched due to a leak in the roof, and it the pop corn ( which shows the date since updated) was not put back on. The bed spread/ comforter was not washed. The bath room was very out dated. The hotel appeared run down. The area is not safe. The pool is detached from the hotel and in a unsafe area.

Room 134 - Mold on the bathroom ceiling, door was reinforced after what I assume to be the door being kicked in at one point, bed seemed to be okay. There was a mobile police tower in the back parking lot which makes me feel break ins were a concern at one point. Didnt even try the pool while we were there. It looks great in pictures on the website but looks can be deceiving. I was definitely disappointed.

Overall I liked this property. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and our stay was good. The only things I didn’t like was how small the double bed room and bathroom was, and also our room did not have a microwave or fridge.

Staff was very friendly & we were offered a free upgrade to a suite at check in. Our room was clean & spacious.The complimentary breakfast was good & convenient. The location of the rail/tram to the hotel was so convenient for an easy access to uptown. Places to eat, dine or shop were very near. I would stay here again if I'm in the Charlotte area.

Nice rooms, apparently recently renovated. Nice common areas, including a expansive fire pit area. Hot breakfast was abysmal, with little offerings. Scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties, grits, hot oatmeal, bread slices, yogurt, and an orange juice dispenser. A cold waffle iron was shoved back against a wall where it appeared to be lonely. No pastry, fruit, cold cereal, milk, butter, etc. Staff was very cordial, even allowing an early check-in of several hours.
