"We were there for less than 16 hours and were charged a $75 pet fee. I booked a standard, single bed room and was given a double bed room making it extremely difficult with our dog. The hotel looks run down and the elevator situation is scary. The front desk staff did not have a very hospitable demeanor. Very dismissive. I would not recommend this hotel when staying in Savannah."

"The king size bed was horrible. The springs were very squeaky and the mattress was so old that we both would roll to the center. Did not sleep well at all. There was construction happening in the lobby so check in was a little difficult due to the noise."

"I found several strands of hair under the toilet seat and in the bed, which was completely unacceptable given the amount of money I paid for the room. I immediately called the operator, and Erica informed me that she would send housekeeping to the room. Unfortunately, that never happened, and I had to go down to the front desk myself to address the issue. We were eventually moved to another room. The room should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. This was very disappointing. Additionally, one of the valet drivers hit another vehicle while bringing me my car—yes, my car was involved in an accident. While the staff was very apologetic and helpful in handling the situation, this was another issue that should not have occurred, especially considering the cost of staying at this establishment. I am now three hours away from home and will miss work because the car rental businesses are not open, creating an even more stressful and unexpected inconvenience. To make matters worse, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and this was certainly not the weekend we had planned. For the most part, the staff was friendly and helpful. Joe and Jesse, in particular, were extremely supportive while assisting with the vehicle situation. Joe even offered to drive me home, which I greatly appreciated. Their kindness and professionalism were the bright spots in an otherwise very disappointing experience."

"Loved our stay. Very popular restaurant and bar. Great wine selection. Historic feel permeated the building. “Grumpy” the leader of the service folks was wonderful. Very informative and refreshing personality. Very glad we found this place as it made our stay so in tune with historic Savanna."
