"I booked this room during FIFA so there weren't many places available. I had to be in ATL for work early Sat. and I didn't have time to change my plans once I locked into this hotel. The location was quiet and seemed safe. My first room, on the ground floor, was not clean. The occasional chair was filthy and the beds were made, but there was hair (of many varieties), stains, tears/burn holes, etc. on all the sheets. I asked for another room. The desk attendant was very receptive and immediately...

"Ok I love giving honest reviews, here I go....(takes deep breath) The check in was horrible, this guy's body language said "What do you want" (eyeroll). He took forever to get an extra pillow that was nothing but the pillow case. One of our keys didn't work the whole time. Our room was by a back door that kept being left open, thought I'd be killed. But the BREAKFAST!! This is the saving grace, waffle bar, sausage sandwiches, delicious juice. Lots of variety not just coffee and dry cereal....

"The property itself was ok but we had a situation on in our room! There was a mouse running around our room, we called the front desk and they gave us another room but when we got there it smelled so bad that we had to change rooms again. It was really frustrating moving all our stuff from room to room at 2am. We left early the next day but the manager called me and was very apologetic and offered a free night for the inconvenience."

"The grounds are incredible. The café is bare bones in the mornings, however the coffee is amazing. The kitchen did a nice job with after hours food. We were there during a wedding so lots of noise. Note, no daily housekeeping. Will stay there again overall, a beautiful location, helpful staff, and lots of amenities to choose from. The room was well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable."

"The room was clean, but televisions and door keys did not work. The reason told to me was that there was a thunder storm the day before and knocked out all the electronics and internet system. I ask for a discount and was told that Expedia would have to do that, because I made my reservation through them and not the hotel."
