Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Broto could be completely stress-free or it could go on forever. We've rounded up some tips that will help you start your next great escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a great experience if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as lip balm and hand cream, a clean set of clothes and a good novel. Next, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and perhaps a blow-up neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to bring your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in your hand luggage. Other prohibited items include explosive or flammable substances, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to be as comfortable as possible. Opt for flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to bring a pullover in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
