Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you've prepared well enough. Check out these handy hints that will get your Buan escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a great experience if you carry the right stuff. First things first, you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare pair of socks and a few magazines. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, your important medications and maybe a neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and poisons, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Consider your footwear choice carefully too, as swollen feet and ankles can be a side effect of flying. Shoes which are flat and slightly roomy are always a sensible way to go.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long flights. But the good news is there are numerous ways to reduce your risk of developing it. Drink plenty of water, wander through the cabin whenever possible and wear compression socks or tights.
