We’ve pulled together all the info you need to make your flight as pain-free as possible. Follow our tips and you’ll be speeding through the airport and enjoying Busan in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a stress-free experience if you bring the right things. Firstly, you’ll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh change of clothes and a few magazines. Secondly, make room in your bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, your important medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Lastly, don’t forget to take your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won’t be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your number one priority is to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Don layers of breathable clothing and pack a cardigan just in case you get cold. Opt for a pair of well-fitting, flat shoes as your feet may swell a little during the journey. Leave the stilettos and chunky boots in your main luggage.
- It’s likely you’ve heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by reduced mobility or inactivity. There’s plenty you can do to lower your risk. Wear compression socks, drink lots of water often and keep your legs and feet moving. Wander up and down the aisles of the cabin or try out some exercises in your seat.
