Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Caico could be a breeze or it could go on forever. We've compiled some useful hints that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's simple — first, put in your passport, official ID, credit cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy novel and a tablet filled with your favourite movies are some wonderful options. If you hope to catch up on some sleep, a quality neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant to ensure you step off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of your plane are no fashion runway. Layer up with comfy clothing and pack a cardigan as the temperature can drop in the cabin. Closed-toed, flat shoes are always a good idea too.
- A serious condition known as DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation. Walking around the cabin and doing regular foot and leg exercises while seated is a great way to prevent this happening. Wearing a good-quality pair of compression tights or socks may also help.
