Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you're well organised. We've made a list of handy tips that will help get your Cayenne escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a comfortable experience if you bring the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a clean set of clothes and something to read. Next, find a spot in your bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, your important medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to bring your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have sharp objects (like a pocket knife) lurking in one of the zippers of your carry-on luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive products, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when choosing what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart option, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- You've probably heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lower your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your lower limbs often.
