We've pulled together all the info you need to make your flight an enjoyable experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be hightailing it through the airport and seeing the best of Conca in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a pleasure if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and a good novel. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp objects (like a pocket knife) lurking in one of the compartments of your carry-on luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable substances, such as fuel and matches, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and opt for shoes that are roomy, flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
