Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you've planned ahead. We've made a list of handy travel tips that will help get your Galati escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a stress-free experience if you take the right gear. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a spare change of clothes and a good book. Next, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any daily medications and maybe a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and fuels, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and go for shoes that are roomy, flat and easy to remove.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
