Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Gujo could be completely stress-free or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some useful travel tips that will help you start your next big adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a great experience if you take the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a clean set of clothes and a good read. Next, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and perhaps a comfy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to be as comfortable as possible. Dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to bring a cardigan in case it gets chilly in the cabin. Always opt for well-fitting, flat shoes as it's possible that your feet and ankles will swell a little during the flight. Leave the stilettos and heavy hiking boots in your checked baggage.
- A serious condition by the name of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clotting due to poor circulation. Doing foot and leg exercises while seated helps to prevent this occurring. Wearing a pair of compression socks or tights also helps reduce the risk.
