We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight as enjoyable as possible. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be breezing through airport security and having a ball in Hechi before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a stress-free experience if you take the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a spare change of clothes and a magazine or two. Next, make room in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, any medications and maybe a quality neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, remember to take your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of restricted items can differ between airlines, the general rule of thumb is avoid carrying anything sharp, flammable or explosive. This includes screwdrivers, pocket knives, aerosol cans and bleaching agents. Sporting equipment like hockey sticks, and items that could injure passengers, such as firearms and swords, are also banned from the cabin.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a wise choice, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
