We’ve rounded up all the info you need to make your flight an enjoyable experience. Follow our insider tips and you’ll be zooming through airport security and having a blast in Jeonju in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack your passport, travel docs, credit cards and medications. Next, you’ll need some extra in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy book and a laptop filled with your favourite shows are some great options. If you hope to take a quick snooze, a neck pillow and some noise-cancelling headphones will also be useful. Finally, find room for a few toiletry items to ensure you touchdown looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won’t be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and poisons, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be the goal when deciding what to wear on board. Consider your choice of footwear with care too, as swollen ankles and feet are a common occurrence. Flat shoes which are slightly roomy are your best bet.
- Caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a serious condition that can affect some passengers during long flights. But the great news is there are proven ways to significantly reduce the risk of developing it. Drink plenty of water, walk around the cabin as much as you can and wear compression socks or tights.
