Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Kanaan could be completely stress-free or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some useful hints that will help you start your next unforgettable escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The secret to having an amazing flight experience is to plan ahead. So, let's start with the essentials: passport, travel documents, bank cards and daily medications. Next, bring on board items that'll help keep you occupied, like your laptop or a magazine. It's also a wise idea to pack your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earphones. And of course, be sure to pop in toiletry items like a toothbrush, lip balm and a clean T-shirt.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of your airplane are not the best place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and pack a cardigan as it can get quite cool inside the cabin. Flat, enclosed shoes are also recommended.
- A serious condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Walking around the cabin and doing regular leg and foot exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this happening. Wearing a good pair of compression socks may also help.
