Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Meru could be completely stress-free or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some handy travel tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a great experience if you take the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a spare set of clothes and a good read. Next, find a spot in your carry-on bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, your medications and maybe a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a sharp object hiding in your hand luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive goods, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and gels and liquids in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible choice, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Make a point of walking around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
