If you're not prepared, airports and flying can be a real challenge. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks for a worry-free start to your time in Nexo. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack your passport, travel documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the time. A juicy novel and a tablet filled with your favourite shows are some great options. If you intend to catch a few z's, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, squeeze in a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll hop off the plane feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be your highest priority when picking what to wear on board. Consider your footwear choice carefully too, as swelling of the feet and ankles can be a side effect of flying. Shoes which are flat and slightly roomy are always a good idea.
- A serious condition by the name of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation. Doing leg and foot exercises while seated is a great way to prevent this developing. Wearing a good-quality pair of compression socks or tights is also a wise idea.
