Finally, leave space for a few toiletry items so you'll touchdown looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:

Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to go for comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by wearing layers, and opt for flat, easy-to-remove footwear like slip-ons.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
