Wherever you're coming from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you're prepared. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will get your Pachuca escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a cruisy experience if you take the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a spare change of clothes and a good novel. Next, find room in your hand luggage for your phone and charger, any vital medications and maybe a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to bring your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and fireworks, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Go for comfort over style. Prepare for changes in temperature by donning layers, and wear flat, slightly roomy shoes like sneakers.
- The result of sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers on long-distance flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your lower limbs moving and wearing compression socks to help your circulation.
