If you're not prepared, travelling can be challenging. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these handy tips and enjoy a pleasant start to your holiday in Presidente Franco. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you take the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as lip balm and hand cream, a fresh set of clothes and a few magazines. Next, find room in your hand luggage for your phone and charger, any medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as spray paint, flares and matches, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to feel as comfortable as you can. Choose shoes that are easy to slip on and off, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
