If you're not prepared, travelling can be daunting. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks and enjoy a worry-free start to your getaway in Ren'ai. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you take the right gear. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and a good read. Next, make room in your bag for your laptop, a charger, your medications and maybe a neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have a pocket knife hiding in the bottom of your carry-on luggage. Other prohibited items include flammable or explosive substances, like aerosols and matches, and gels and liquids in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane are no place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and choose shoes that are flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
