Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Sejong could be as easy as pie or it could go on forever. We've put together some tips that will help you start your next big adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack in your passport, travel documents, credit cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to help pass the time. A thrilling novel and a tablet crammed with your favourite movies are some fantastic options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a comfy neck pillow and some earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave space for a few toiletry items to ensure you arrive looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when choosing what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible choice, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
