Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Skhirat could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've pulled together some handy tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be easy if you pack the right gear. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a spare set of clothes and a good book. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your laptop, a charger, your important medications and maybe a cosy neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a sensible option, as are flat, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
