Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Sveg could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've put together some handy travel tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a stress-free experience if you carry the right things. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as lip balm and hand cream, a clean pair of socks and a good book. Next, make room in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any vital medications and maybe a cosy neck pillow too. Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be the goal when choosing what to wear during your flight. Consider your footwear with care too, as swollen feet are a common side effect of flying. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are always a good idea.
- Most travellers are aware of DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. There are plenty of ways to lessen your risk. Don a pair of compression tights or socks, stay hydrated and get your legs and feet moving. Do a lap or two of the cabin or perform some simple exercises in your seat.
