Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you prepare well enough. We've made a list of handy hints that will get your Temerloh holiday started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a stress-free experience if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a clean pair of socks and a magazine or two. Next, make room in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, any vital medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp objects (like a pocket knife) lurking in the bottom of your carry-on luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable substances, such as fuel and matches, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose clothing is a smart choice, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- Caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers during long flights. Reduce the risks by drinking water, keeping your legs and feet moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
