Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've planned ahead. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will get your Tenby escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The trick to having an amazing flight experience is to be prepared. So, let's start with the basics: passport, boarding pass, bank cards and medications. Next, bring items that'll help keep you occupied, like your laptop or a good read. It's also wise to pack your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of headphones. Last but not least, be sure to toss in toiletries like a toothbrush, facial wipes and a clean T-shirt.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp or pointed objects lurking in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable substances, such as fuel and fireworks, and gels and liquids in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose clothing is a wise option, as are flat, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
