Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're well prepared. We've compiled a list of handy tips and tricks that will get your Tucuman escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, pack in your passport, travel docs, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A thrilling book and a phone crammed with your favourite movies are some great options. If you intend to take a quick snooze, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll hop off the plane feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fuels, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose clothing is a sensible choice, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
