We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as pain-free as possible. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be zooming through the airport and exploring Ünye in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a cruisy experience if you bring the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a fresh change of clothes and a good novel. Next, find room in your carry-on bag for your phone and charger, medications and maybe a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, remember to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and matches, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft aren't the place for a fashion parade. Layer your clothing and opt for shoes that are flat and easy to take on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
