We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey a stress-free experience. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and seeing the best of Vagur before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, pack your passport, travel documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling book and a laptop crammed with your favourite movies are some terrific options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-cancelling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you arrive looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable goods, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Go for comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes by donning layers, and wear slightly roomy, flat shoes like slip-ons.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lower your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks and move your legs and feet often.
