Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Warwick could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've put together some tips that will help you start your next big adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a cruisy experience if you carry the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a spare change of clothes and something to read. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, your important medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to bring your passport, travel documents and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have a Swiss Army knife lurking in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive products, such as bleach and fuel, and gels and liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and opt for shoes that are flat and easy to take on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
