Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're well prepared. We've put together a list of top travel tips that will help get your Yeosu holiday started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be easy if you take the right gear. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare set of clothes and a good book. Next, find room in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, your medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow too. Lastly, remember to take your passport, travel papers and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like a pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Layer your clothing and go for shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to remove.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
